Sneaker Freaker and Asics are back with their latest collaborative effort.
After the re-release of the 'Alvin' Gel-Lyte III, Sneaker Freaker is back with the follow-up. This time choosing to work on the Gel Kayano Trainer. Inspired by Alvin's son, this pair is known as the 'Melvin' edition. They come in a black, charcoal and yellow colorway. Featuring a black-based suede upper with mesh on the toe box, side panels and tongue. Details include an asymmetrical support cage, with the medial side charcoal-based with glitter-infused reflective 3M and the outside flips it sunnyside up, in yellow. Speckled midsoles, polka dot laces and alternating neutral shades reach around to the scientifically engineered bootie, while a little splash of purple (a nod to dad) on the heel
