Back in July, we suggested that FILA release a Grant Hill retro inspired by his time as a pitchman for the soft drink Sprite. They didn't quite serve up our GH2, but a refreshing colorway of Hill's debut sig will quench your thirst soon.
While shooting the classic Lee Garfinkel Sprite commercial in 1995, Hill laced up an exclusive GH1 made specifically for the spot. Nearly 20 years later, FILA is making the rebranded 95 available in the 'Sprite' colorway.
Dressed in white, the shoe gets its flavor from an atomic blue tongue and mudguard, along with safety yellow branding hits. Other details include a carbonated design on the insoles and translucent outsole.
Accompanying the 95 in this pack will be the Overpass runner, which was reintroduced last season. This pair is highlighted by reflective mesh detailing, grainy leather and the same color pops found on Hill’s sig.
You’ll be able to get the ‘Lemon & Lime’ Pack at select FILA retailers next Friday, October 24. The 95 will retail for $90, while the Overpass is priced at $75.
