adidas Consortium is back with their latest release, a re-creation of the original ZX 550.
Originally released in 1986, the adidas ZX 550 is one of the few pairs that is actually missing from the Three Stripes' archives. With that in mind, adidas Consortium decided to resurrect this lost model, while staying true to the original. The ZX 550 OG stays true to the '80s original silhouette in every detail. From the colorway and materials used to the unique outsole construction. A combination of mesh, synthetic suede, and leather is found on the upper, executed in black, grey and white. Hits of red on the upper; with the model’s distinctive midsole finish this pair off.
The adidas Consortium ZX 550 OG will be available at select adidas Consortium retailers worldwide on Saturday, October 11 in limited quantities.
