Nike is still the official outfitter for the NFL, but adidas is about to get a bit more visibility in the league.
ESPN reports that a deal was reached that will allow adidas athletes to wear both cleats and gloves using the brand's logo. While this is certainly a step in the right direction for adidas in terms of upping their U.S. visibility, the deal is diminished just a bit by the injuries of Robert Griffin III, the NFL athlete that they've got the most invested in with the adidas RGIII Boost Trainer.
