About a year ago, Sole Collector put together a list of ten Reebok Basketball classics that were in need of a re-release. At the top of that list was The Blast, which we're happy to say will soon be available for the first time since its original 1996 drop.
Famously worn by Nick Van Exel when he was bringing his own brand of showtime to the Lakers, The Blast was part of the Mobius Collection, which consisted of other 50/50 counterblocked models like the Kamikaze, Big Hurt and Shaqnosis.
The Blast returns in the original White/Black-Excellent Red colorway for $120 on Friday, August 29 at Finish Line, Champs, Eastbay, Jimmy Jazz, Footaction, Villa and reebok.com. Kids Sizing will be available for $85 at retailers including Champs, Eastbay, Jimmy Jazz and Villa.
