The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards are now a thing of the past, though you'll have trouble telling that to any fan of Beyonce.
However, we're not quite done with the VMA coverage just yet. Today's #MJMondays feature takes us back to 1993, when Michael Jordan was kinda, sorta nominated for a Moon Man.
If you recall, Jordan starred alongside Michael Jackson in the music video for 'Jam.' In the clip, the two icons took turns teaching each other their specialty skills — hoops for Jordan, and dancing for Jackson.
'Jam' was nominated for Best Choreography at the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards, and with Jordan showing off some of his moves in the video, he could — if we were really reaching — have been considered a nominee. En Vogue's 'Free Your Mind' ended up winning the award, so we'd have to stop there, but it'd still be a cool addition to Jordan's already unreal list of accolades.
Get your week started by checking out 'Jam' above, along with a few photos and behind-the-scenes videos from the shoot below.
