Over the past five years,  Saucony has become a staple in regards to collaborations. They have produced some of the best concepts with various brands and boutiques all over the world. Looking back, we picked our fifteen favorites, listed below.

 

15. Solebox x Saucony Shadow 90 ‘Old School’ (2010)

A part of the ‘Old School vs. New School’ Pack, this Shadow 90 comes in a clean black and salmon colorway. Limited to 100 pairs, released in 2010 exclusively at Solebox. This pair sports a black-based suede and mesh upper with salmon accents and Solebox branding on the back heel. A white midsole and gum rubber outsole complete the look.

 

14. hanon x Saucony Shadow Master ‘Midnight Runner’ (2013)

One of the more underrated silhouettes by Saucony, the Shadow Master. Scotland-based boutique hanon cooked up this limited edition ‘Midnight Runner’ colorway that definitely grabbed everyone’s attention in 2013.

 

13. Ubiq x Saucony Grid 9000 ‘Dirty Martini’ (2014)

Inspired by the classic cocktail, Philly-based boutique cooked up this ‘Dirty Martini’ edition of the Saucony Grid 9000 in 2014. The green and black suede upper with grey and orange accents tie the theme together with Ubiq branding found on the sides.

 

12. Offspring x Saucony Shadow 6000 ‘Running Since 96’ Pack (2014)

This ‘Running Since 96’ Pack was made to commemorate Offspring’s 18 years and running, in the UK sneaker scene. Featuring two colorways of the Saucony Shadow 6000 both sporting premium pig skin suede uppers, pink and teal accents, a speckled midsole, 3M reflective tongueand Offspring branding on the tongue tag and heel.

 

11. .end Clothing x Saucony Shadow 5000 ‘Burger’ (2014)

With the rise in popularity of gourmet burgers over the past few years, .end Clothing used that base as inspiration for their collaboration with Saucony on the ‘Burger’ Shadow 5000. Featuring a perforated nubuck and suede upper with touches of leather and End branding on the tongue tag.

 

10. Extra Butter x Saucony ‘Space Race’ Pack (2014)

Extra Butter teamed up with Saucony in 2014 for the launch of their ‘Space Race’ Pack. Featuring the ‘ACES’ Grid 9000 followed by the ‘Space Snack’ Shadow Master and ‘Moonwalker’ Shadow 6000. Each pair draws inspiration from each theme throughout the entire silhouette complete with Extra Butter’s ‘Space Man’ logo on the tongue tags.

 

9. West NYC x Saucony Shadow 5000 ‘Cabin Fever’ (2013)

West NYC teamed back up with Saucony in 2013 for their second collaboration on the Shadow 5000. This pair, known as the ‘Cabin Fever’ edition features an earth-toned upper of premium suede, perforated leather and rugged ripstop along with a splatter design on the midsole.

 

8. White Mountaineering x Saucony Jazz Original ‘Navy’ (2012)

White Mountaineering teamed up with Saucony on a trio of Jazz Original colorways in 2012. Rounding out the set was this navy and grey pair, featuring a premium, vegetable dyed calf suedeon the upper, along with a classic white rubber running midsole.

 

7. Premier x Saucony ‘Life on Mars’ Pack (2014)

Along with Extra Butter, Premier also took to outer space for its inspiration on their collaboration with Saucony in 2014. The ‘Life on Mars’ Pack featured two colorways of the Shadow 6000. Each pair represents the different climates found on Mars, one red-based while the other is grey and red with black accents.

 

6. Acht Amsterdam x Saucony Shadow 6000 ‘Invictus’ (2011)

Acht Amsterdam teamed up with Saucony in 2011 on the Shadow 6000. Known as the ‘Invictus’ edition, they feature a denim, mesh and suede upper in a colorway inspired by the city of Amersterdam along with the designer/owner of Acht Amsterdam. Only 140 pairs were released, all available exclusively at Acht.

 

5. bait x Saucony Shadow Original ‘Cruel World’ (2013)

Bait teamed up with Saucony in 2013 to offer a cruelty-free version of the Shadow Original. Known as the ‘Cruel World’ edition, they were constructed using vegan-only materials. No animal products, by-products or derivatives were usedin the assembly process of this shoe.

 

4. Bodega x Saucony Shadow 6000 Elite Pack (2011)

In 2011, Boston-based boutique Bodega teamed up with Saucony on some exclusive colorways of the Shadow 6000 Elite. Their inspiration was to mix uppers and midsoles to expand the designing process.

 

3. Sneaker Freaker x Saucony Grid 9000 ‘Bushwackers’ (2012)

In celebration of their 10th Anniversary, Sneaker Freaker teamed up with Saucony on the Grid 9000 in 2012. This ‘Bushwackers’ edition features a heavy camo tint. Desert sand and minty green hues are offset by black suede and a satin lining along with a modern diamond mesh fabric and elastic bungee cords.

 

2. Footpatrol x Saucony Shadow 6000 ‘Only in Soho’ (2013)

After a lengthy delay due to production issues, the Footpatrol x Saucony Shadow 6000 ‘Only in Soho’ edition released in 2013. Inspired by the well-established ‘entertainment’ district, they feature a black and blue suede upper with red reflective 3M accents and a speckled midsole.

 

1. Solebox x Saucony Shadow 5000 ‘Pink Devil’ (2012)

Topping our list is the Solebox x Saucony Shadow 5000 ‘Pink Devil.’ Released in 2012, they feature the same construction as the ‘Grey Devil’ edition but with a pink suede toe instead. That paired with the black premium leather upper, white midsole and gum rubber outsole complete the look.
