General Electric (GE) engineerers of the original moon boot worn by astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin during NASA's Apollo 11 mission have teamed up with JackThreads and Android Homme on 'THE MISSIONS' moon boot sneaker. Made up of advanced materials such as stabilized carbon fiber, Hydrophobic water-resistant coating, reflective 3M and thermoplastic rubber. Designed to feature today's most advanced wearable materials inspired by the materials of science, industrial design and personal fashion.

'THE MISSIONS' moon boot sneaker will release exclusively online at JackThreads.com on Sunday, July 20 at 4:18pm EDT, which is the exact time the Apollo 11 lunar module touched down on the moon. They are limited to 100 pairs priced at $196.90, in tribute to the year the moon landing took place, 1969.
