Next Thursday marks the start of the long awaited 2014 FIFA World Cup. With soccer being the world's most popular sport, several companies are invested in its marquee event, including those who outfit the participating teams.

Earlier today, we came across this graphic breaking down the official footwear and apparel sponsors for each of the 32 teams in the World Cup. As you'd probably expect, Nike sponsors the most teams, but there's a little more brand balance than you'd find in American sports. Adidas follows Nike's 11 teams with 9 of their own, including powerhouses like Spain, Argentina and Germany. PUMA is the outfitter of 7 squads, while little known brands like Marathon, Joma, Uhlsport, Lotto and Burrda get in the mix as well.

Which brand do you think has the best odds of sponsoring the World Cup winner? Let us know below.
