While the shoe pictured below may be guilty of crimes against fashion, that's not what this lawsuit addresses. According to TMZ, which has obtained the lawsuit, "New Balance claims Lagerfeld is using a block capital letter "K" on an otherwise identical shoe design. NB claims this creates confusion."
This is hardly the first shoe to borrow liberally from New Balance's design. They sued Louis Vuitton for it back in 2009, before eventually reaching a settlement.
