Just ahead of the NBA Finals, leading sports memorabilia auction house Grey Flannel has received a pair of Air Jordans worn by Michael Jordan en route to his fourth championship in 1996.

The Black/Red (or 'Bred') colorway of the Air Jordan 11 was laced up by MJ in Game 3 of the '96 Finals against the Seattle Supersonics. Shoes come complete with size 13.5 FTPS tagging and Jordan's signature on the inner ankle of the right shoe. According to Grey Flannel, this pair was originally obtained by Eric Snow, then a rookie for the Sonics.

With a little more than two weeks until closing, the auction has bids up to $6,655. How much would you pay for a real piece of history.?

UPDATE 6/19: The auction for the '96 Finals game-worn Air Jordan 11 closed at $17,126.
