In the past few days, we’ve seen the reemergence of a sneaker trend that appeared to have overstayed its welcome a while back: lasering. But thanks to both the leaked shots of a 5lab4, as well as a pair of Concord Lows given to Chi McBride, lasering is back in the sneaker conversation.
Although lasering didn’t start in the Air Jordan line, that’s where it’s seen the most frequent use. Whether it was on special birthday editions for MJ himself, or integrated into the original design of Air Jordan XX, we’ve seen lasering used (to varying degrees of success) time and time again since it was first introduced to the line in the early 2000s.
