After collecting his first MVP trophy, Kevin Durant and Nike prepare for the launch of the next generation of his signature sneaker line — the KD 7.
Chinese catalog information says that the KD 7 is designed to complement Durant's natural blend of mobility and stability. According to translators, the shoe will introduce what is being called 'Zone 3' technology — a mesh forefoot for fast cuts, midfoot cross-strap for lockdown and power and a Hyperposite heel wrap for protection and stability. We still need to sort confirmed details, but this is the early word.
Below are four confirmed dates we have for KD 7 launches, starting with a USA-themed pair in late-June.

Earlier today, photos of a preschool sample in Teal/Volt-Pink leaked from China. Though the KD 7 has long been rumored to be a mid, this version is a low-top, featuring an open-hole mesh base, a Hyperposite heel wrap and the return of the midfoot cross-strap. Additional tech info suggests that the shoe is supposed to be equipped with visible 180 Zoom cushioning, so perhaps that's something we'll see on the men's version.

The first piece of KD 7 information to hit the web was this screenshot with details on two possible colorways that are not yet confirmed. One, a limited edition 'Pre-Heat' drop set for June 28. Also, a pair dubbed '35K Degrees' that would release on July 12. More information on these two styles as it becomes available.
So, that's what we know at the moment. Let us know what your early impressions of the KD 7 are and continue to check Sole Collector for all future updates.
