This past Tuesday, Rita Ora made a little history by officially announcing that she is the first female musician to work on her own adidas collection. In an exclusive interview with Women's Wear Daily, Rita detailed her partnership with adidas and what we can expect to see in her seasonal capsules. What we didn't get was a look at actual product from the collection — until now.
Earlier this week, Rita shared the above photo on Instagram. In the photo, her own adidas Originals Superstar, black-based with an O-branded tongue and multicolor sole. We spotted similar colorways of models like the Tech Super and Extaball being carried by Rita's bodyguard when she performed in London earlier this month. Perhaps these styles are part of Rita's "Black" line launching in August.
What are your early thoughts on the direction Rita is taking with her sneakers? Can you see men possibly trying to pull off these styles? Let us know below.
