Next week will officially mark the 20th Anniversary of the film Blue Chips, which starred Nick Nolte as a college basketball coach who believed he had to break rules to keep his program competitive. As you may remember, the film marked the acting debuts of Shaquille O'Neal and Anfernee Hardaway, who would go on to become teammates in the NBA.
With the anniversary on the horizon, Teaneck-based boutique Packer Shoes teases their next Reebok Classics collaboration — a Blue Chips-inspired version of the Shaq Attaq. The upcoming release sports a blue suede upper with a mesh collar and yellow accents, matching the uniforms of the fictional Western University Dolphins. Custom 'Friend of the Program' insoles line the interior.
