We're not exactly sure why the Kobe 8 didn't make the cut for Nike Basketball's 2014 BHM Collection. And with Kobe still sidelined by injury, there was a chance we'd never see the shoe worn in a game. However, Swaggy P took care of that, just like he took care of the Kobe 9 Elite debut.
The BHM Kobe 8 is decked out in purple, with African art graphics printed in black throughout the upper. Gold handles Swoosh and Kobe branding, as well as a speckle on the laces, midsole and outsole.
