Michael Jordan's Charlotte basketball franchise is currently in the midst of an identity transition that will have it change from the Bobcats to the Hornets next season. MJ himself revealed the team's new logos in late-December, which makes the timing of this 'Bobcats' Air Jordan 10 Retro interesting.
All things considered, it's strange we didn't see more 'Bobcats' retros drop during Jordan's now seven and a half years with the franchise, nearly four as majority owner. It's safe to say that won't be the case with the Hornets, whose teal and purple palette has already been featured on classic Air Jordan releases. We even saw a stylized version of the Air Jordan 11 used on the new mascot logo.
The 'Bobcats' 10 is grey-based with navy along the collar, eyestay and midsole. Powder handles the laces, while bright orange provides pop on the inner lining and achievement sections of the translucent outsole.
You'll be able to grab a pair for $170 at retailers like Rock City Kicks next Saturday.
