Get ready NB collectors. After releasing earlier this month through WHIZ and mita's Tokyo retail locations, the WHIZ x mita sneakers x New Balance MRT580 will get a limited stateside release this weekend exclusively through New Balance.
The collaboration utilizes the MRT580, a Revlite-equipped version of the classic MT580 (a favorite of the Japanese market), dressing the shoe with premium materials and unique details. Laser-cut stars adorn the shoe's black leather upper, revealing a reflective underlayer, while contrast stitching runs along the seams. WHIZ, mita and New Balance branding appears in gold foil on an orange leather sockliner.
The WHIZ x mita sneakers x New Balance MRT580 will release this Saturday, November 30 at 10:00 AM ET on NewBalance.com. For those in the Northeast, the shoe will also release at the New Balance New York Flagship store (150 5th Ave.) and at the New Balance Boston Flagship store (583 Boylston St.). Retail price is set at $164.95.
