The most celebrated basketball prospect in a decade, Andrew Wiggins made his highly anticipated debut for the Kansas Jayhawks at Allen Fieldhouse last night.
Less than 20 seconds into his college career, Wiggins banked in a 10-foot floater off a spin move for the Jayhawks' first two points of the season. When it was all said in done, he led Kanas with 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting as the team coasted by UL Monroe 80-63.
"He did some good things," Jayhawks coach Bill Self told ESPN following the game. "I think he can be more aggressive, but I think all the guys can be more aggressive."
In his college debut, Wiggins laced up a White/Royal colorway of the adidas Rose 773 2. The model is a follow-up to last season's Derrick Rose signature team shoe.
