This one's for all the running shoe nerds out there. Today's Vintage Ad for the Nike Air Skylon Triax from 1995 probably won't excite anyone else.
This Air Skylon from 1995 is a runner's running shoe, with little flash and a pretty basic colorway. No gimmicks like Air Max or a big ad campaign, just a shoe that's actually good for running. Unless you can find your dad's dusty old pair in a closet somewhere, chances are you'll unfortunately never have a chance to own a pair. (I don't see Nike Sportswear bringing them back any time soon.) Find them if you can, but this ad may be the best look you ever get at this unheralded Nike runner from '95. Enjoy!
