As the calendar flips once again, we take a look back at the top footwear collaborations from the past month.
A summer of great collaborations spilled into September, blessing sneaker fans with a diverse selection of special projects from all over the map. From the over-the-top "Kiss of Death 2" to the simple approach of the Maison Martin Margiela x Converse First String collection, there was a little something for everyone.

CLOT teamed up with Nike for a second "Kiss of Death" Air Max 1, this time featuring a grey Hyperfuse upper and speckled midsole, highlighted by blue and green accents. The colorway recalls elements of the 2006 "Kiss of Death" collaboration with a see-through toe box, CLOT graphic on the heel and an interesting Chinese meridians theme extending from the sockliner onto the outsole.
Diamond Bar, California's BAIT linked up with ASICS for a special Gel Saga collaboration, dressing the "Phantom Lagoons" in a killer navy, aqua and purple colorway. Premium nubuck and suede materials made this BAIT release a must-have for ASICS collectors.
Concepts and New Balance rolled out the "C-Note," a Made in USA 998 inspired by the new US $100 bill. The first of two money-themed releases, the "C-Note" features an excellent mix of colors and materials worthy of its namesake (and then some).
The Nike Air Max 93 returned as part of a size? exclusive, two decades after its original release. The newly resurrected Maximum Air runner arrived in two solid colorways, each featuring key cement print accents.
atmos Tokyo and adidas Originals continued the G-SNK series with a new Superstar 80s. The G-SNK 6 features a unique navy snakeskin-printed upper that glows in the dark and still kills in the daytime. Throw a set of G-SNK Bounty Hunter tees into the mix and you have another winner.
Sweden's Sneakersnstuff released the new SNS x Reebok NPC II Gore-Tex, the ninth shoe in its yearlong collaboration project with Reebok. The shoe features a waterproof Gore-Tex upper covered in woodland camouflage, finished off with SNS hits on the tongue and heel.
Boston's Bodega teamed up with New Balance to release the 577 "HYPRCAT," a colorful collaboration inspired by the Super Nintendo classic, Star Fox. The shoe features a suede upper with speckled textile overlays, topped off with a HYPRCAT graphic on the tongue.
atmos makes its second appearance on this month's list with a two-shoe Nike Free Woven 4.0 collaboration, continuing the retailer's ongoing "Animal Camo" motif. The slip-on sneaker arrived in distinctive black snake/tiger camo and leopard/desert camo colorways.
A$AP Rocky and Jeremy Scott finally debuted their first official collaboration, releasing a murdered out adidas JS Wings 2.0. The shoe features embroidered stars and stripes details inspired by the cover art from LONG.LIVE.ASAP.
Converse First String worked with one of the biggest names in fashion for a special collection, featuring paint-dipped versions of the classic Chuck Taylor and Jack Purcell. The cleverness of the MMM x Converse collection comes with time, when wear and tear begins to reveal the shoe's unknown original colors creating a custom look for each pair.
