In this week's Vintage Ad we take it back to 1996 for a look at the "Olympic" FILA Grant Hill II, which just re-released today for the first time ever. Grant Hill wore this colorway while leading Team USA to the gold medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics.
One of the dopest shoes on Dream Team II's feet, the Olympic GH2 (now known as the 96) features a white colorway accented with navy and red. This USA edition includes a couple of special features not found on the other colorways of the GH2: a speckled sole and red, white and blue stars on the toe. All these years later, the patriotic FILA model has returned with a limited release earlier today. Who picked up a pair?
