Take a look as we honor DJ AM's life and career, as well as his passion and love for sneakers.

Four years ago yesterday, the sneaker community lost one of its most famed and avid collectors in DJ AM. AM was not only respected as a world class DJ, but as a sneaker collector as well, owning a collection that reached almost 900 pairs.

From original Ewings to a pair of the insanely rare Air Jordan Retro 4 "Eminem" edition and several Nike x Sole Collector collabs, Adam's collection covered a wide range of sneakers. After AM's sudden death in 2009, his entire collection was auctioned off and 100% of the proceeds went to the DJ AM Memorial Fund, which helped others battling addiction as well.

Four years later, Adam Michael Goldstein AKA "DJ AM" is still missed and appreciated in the sneaker world. Check the videos below as we honor the life of AM and give you a look into the amazing sneaker collection put together by the man himself.
