Last night, the "Legends of the Summer" Tour stopped through Detroit, where Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake played in front of a crowd of more than 42,000 at Ford Field. As he has at each stop, Justin gave away a few pairs of LOTS Air Jordan Retros to fans in attendance, this special make-up of the Air Jordan 1 High OG landing in the hands of Troy Smith aka @TMS2787.
As Troy was told by a handler at the concert, Justin worked with the Jordan Brand to create limited run for him to wear on tour. Apparently 14 pairs of each shoe were created, representing the 14 stops on the Legends of the Summer tour.
This colorway of the Jordan 1 pairs black and red leather together on the shoe's upper, the tongue treated to heavy microperf detailing. Chrome works the toebox, Swoosh branding and 'Wings' logo, while the midsole sports a red chrome finish. Below sits a blue-tinted translucent rubber outsole. Promo tagging can be found on the backside of the tongue and shoe was signed and dated by Justin.
A future release of Justin's "Legends of the Summer" Jordan retros has been rumored, but not confirmed. What do you think of this pair and would you like to see Jordan Brand drop this colorway?
