Believe it or not, the pitcher's mound is one of the best places for spotting sneaker heat these days. We're not talking cleats — but rather the kicks athletes and celebrities lace up when throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Last month, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick threw an 87-mph fastball at AT&T Park in the "Bulls" Air Jordan 1 Retro. Over the weekend, it was free agent guard Nate Robinson returning to Seattle in a pair of Jordan retros of his own.

Before the series finale between the Chicago Cubs and Mariners, Nate threw out the first pitch wearing the "Mist Blue" Air Jordan 4 Retro LS from 2006. It wasn't quite Kaepernick's 87-mph, but it was a strike and you won't see Nate on blooper reels anytime soon.

Check out a photo from Sunday's game below and let us know what you think about this overlooked Air Jordan 4 colorway.
