Mariano Rivera made his 13th and final All-Star Game appearance last night, taking home the MVP award and a 2014 Corvette Stingray for good measure.
The Yankee legend entered the game in the bottom of the 8th, jogging out to the mound while "Enter Sandman" blared out of the Citi Field sound system. After receiving a standing ovation from the sold out crowd and both dugouts, Mo tipped his cap, threw his cutter and produced another 1-2-3 inning, this time picking up a rare hold for the AL squad.
On his feet, Rivera once again wore his go-to Nike Cooperstown cleats, featuring "42" on the tongue and "PHIL 4:13" near the heel.
