Not to be confused with the pair that dropped back in January, the other "Fire Red Air Jordan 5 is making its way back to retail this summer.
Originally released in 1990 and retroed in 2006, the "Fire Red" 5 sports a white leather upper with black and Fire Red accents on the tongue, inner lining and midsole. The shoe sits atop a translucent rubber outsole.
Also, if the leaked catalog photo is any indication, this pair could be dropping without its famous "23" embroidery on the heel for the first time. We'll see how that plays out when live photos start to surface.
You'll be able to pick up the "Fire Red" Air Jordan Retro 5 on Saturday, August 31 for $160. Sizing runs down to infant.
Edit: 2013 "Fire Red" Retro 5 WILL have '23' embroidered on the heel.
