It should come as no surprise that the play being touted as the NBA play of the year comes to us courtesy of the Los Angeles Clippers. Since Chris Paul linked up with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan in December of 2011, the crew known as "Lob City" has provided us with a seemingly endless amount of highlight reel dunks. Throw Jamal Crawford's handles in the mix and you have the new age "Showtime." It was more of the same in last night's home win against the Milwaukee Bucks, as Crawford and Griffin hooked up for an alley-oop that will be talked about for years to come.
Up 15 with about 6:20 left to play in the fourth quarter, Eric Bledsoe stole the ball and passed it up the court to a wide open Crawford. With Griffin in sight, Jamal went with a through-the-legs lob, which Blake promptly flushed with a clean windmill. As Ralph Lawler put it, "Oh me, oh my."
For the incredible oop, Jamal and Blake rocked royal blue and white colorways of models from Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand. Crawford laced up the Lunar Hyperdunk, while Griffin threw it down in the Super.Fly II. Quite an endorsement for the upcoming release.
Relive the dunk in the video above and check out a few game shots below.
