Back in January, Los Angeles Clippers guard Willie Green turned heads when he laced up a never-before-seen red, white and blue colorway of Shawn Kemp's Reebok Kamikaze II. At the time, the thinking was that it was a Player Exclusive make-up for Green, but it turns out that the shoe is being released — albeit with a few differences.
This white-based Kamikaze II features a navy tongue and toebox, as well as a red zig zag counterblock detail along the side panels. Red works the shoe's textile lining, while the trio comes together again to finish off the midsole and outsole.
What separates this release from the pair Green wore is the inclusion of patent leather on the toebox and zig zags.
No official stateside release date for this colorway yet, but Overkill has a drop planned for March 1.
