Makia's latest collaboration with etnies has launched with a video showcasing the collection's inspiration — spring breaking through a harsh winter, prompting skaters to hop back on their boards for frequent outdoor sessions.
The clip features etnies visiting Makia's Finnish stomping ground, arriving with just their skateboarding and camping gear. While there, etnies’ own Don Brown and skate legend Natas Kaupas found a playground on the seemingly unskateable rocks.
Included in the Spring '13 Collection are two classic silhouettes that draw cues from spring camping. Ripstop nylon that tents are constructed with and hiking inspired eyelets can be found on the Barge LS, while the earthy green Dapper features insoles with an image of a lakeside sunset.
