Unfortunate circumstances have prevented this "Triple Blue" Rose 3.5 from being Derrick Rose's All-Star shoe, but adidas moves forward with the release.
Decked out in varying blue tones, the shoe represents Derrick's cold on-court demeanor and attitude for competition, but the story goes a little further.
Remember last year's All-Star player introductions? Eastern Conference starters emerged from the tunnel all smiles and dancing — except for Derrick Rose, who maintained his intense level of focus, even on the most playful of stages. Rose's reaction to the dancing was a hot topic on social media and adidas designers were inspired to create this "icy" blue colorway of what would have been his 2013 All-Star shoe.
The good news is that you can pick up the "Triple Blue" Rose 3.5 — and you can do so today at adidas.com, Eastbay and other adidas retailers for $160.
