It appears Nike Sportswear will once again be celebrating the History of Air next year with the original Air Max 97 colorway also set to make a return.
Released earlier this year in an updated Hyperfuse version, the iconic Air Max 97 will return early next year in original form featuring a mesh and leather construction. Metallic silver brings to life the classic look throughout the upper, while varsity red hits the Swoosh branding throughout. An AM '97 full-length Air tooling sits down below, covered in its usual white/black combination.
The Metallic Silver/Varsity Red Air Max 97 is expected to hit select Nike Sportswear accounts in January.
