It was a great opening week in the NBA with plenty of action, and a few less flops thanks to the new rules. As to be expected, Nike Basketball-sponsored athletes broke out some serious heat for their first week back on the job. With much of the opening night footwear from the Miami Heat ring ceremony game already featured like Rajon Rondo's 'Pearlized Pink' Foamposites and LeBron's "Ring Ceremony" LeBron X, we'll now take a look at the best of the rest from Nike Basketball.
There's the usual mix of Hyperdunks, Hyperfuses, and Kobes, but one thing you'll notice this week is the amount of love Penny Hardaway is still receiving on the NBA court. With multiple Foamposite One sightings, the all new Penny V, and even Kawhi Leonard breaking out the Air Flight One, Penny is still fully represented on the court. Other notables this week are Nick Young dusting off a pair of the Zoom Kobe I, DeMarcus Cousins in the KD IV "Christmas" with purple laces, and a couple of Huarache 2K4 sightings.
