The much needed return of the NBA brings with it a revamped sneaker watch here to Sole Collector taking a weekly look at some of the most notable on court kicks from companies such as the Jordan Brand. The opening week for the 2012-2013 campaign saw an endless amount of Jordan styles hit the court, ranging from retro classics such as the Air Jordan IV, to performance-driven models such as the Jordan Super.Fly and Jordan Aero Flight.
Newly aquired Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Johnson helped open the Barclay Center in style, lacing up the upcoming Black/Cement Grey Air Jordan 4 Retro and Jordan Super.Fly during the Nets' home opener versus the Raptors. Team Jordan's latest addition also took flight in style, with Blake Griffin rocking multiple PE colorways of the Jordan Super.Fly for the LA Clippers. Classics seen over the first week of the season include the "Black Cat" Air Jordan Retro 4, the "Toro Bravo" Air Jordan 5 Retro, and even the highly coveted "Altitude" Air Jordan Retro 13 on the feet of Bucks' guard Monta Ellis.
