Converse First String unveiled the new Chuck Taylor All Star Made in Maine boot this week, a limited edition boot constructed entirely in the USA.

Seeking to create a proper American boot, Converse First String naturally looked to the Northeast, developing a working partnership with Brewer, Maine's Highland Boot Company. This collaboration resulted in the Made in Maine boot, a handcrafted boot celebrating Converse's rich American heritage. The boot's upper features oiled Chamois leather from Chicago's esteemed Horween Leather Company, all sitting on a Vibram Jumbo Ripple outsole.

The Chuck Taylor All Star Made in Maine Boot, limited to 80 pairs, will be available at select Converse First String accounts on November 30. Retail price is set at $350.
