Tonight, Jay-Z opened Barclays Center by unveiling the brand new Brooklyn Nets jersey by adidas. The jersey is now available for fans to purchase at the Nets Team Shop, Netsstore.com, NBAStore.com, Modell's at 140 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn and NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
A limited edition "Carter #4" jersey is also being sold to commemorate Jay-Z opening Barclays.
Decked out in a timeless black and white scheme, the Nets jerseys feature 'Brooklyn' across the front and a herringbone tape running vertically along the sides, matching the Nets' unique court design and Barclays.
“The inaugural event at Barclays Center, the new home of the Brooklyn Nets, was the perfect time to reveal the new Nets jersey and there was no one more fitting than Brooklyn’s own JAY Z to do it,” said Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark. “The jersey’s black and white color scheme and classic look speaks to the rich history of Brooklyn and we anticipate Brooklyn Nets fans proudly sporting our jerseys throughout the borough and all over the world.”
Additionally, Brooklyn and adidas worked together to create and exclusive Nets licensed collection, including game uniforms, on-court gear, stylish jackets, tees and hats for men, women and children and all price points.
