It is the one and only Rasheed Wallace's birthday today, and since he's a favorite of much of the SC staff, we thought we would celebrate with a look back at his various Nike Air Force One PE's. From early on in his career with the Portland Trailblazers to his last year in Celtic green, Sheed kept it real in the original Air Force One High, rocking some of the best versions ever of the iconic basketball shoe.
Sheed single-handedly kept the Force alive in the NBA from the late 90's until his retirement in 2010, leaving behind a slew of shiny patent leather PE colorways, complete with his fadeaway jumper silhouette on the heel. Strapped, no strap, strap dangling...no matter how he wore them, they always looked cool. Love him or hate him, you gotta respect his sneaker game.
Happy Birthday, Sheed!
