Like the men, it's been business as usual for the United States Women's Olympic Basketball Team. Our girls are 6-0 heading into the semifinal round, where a talented Aussie team led by Lauren Jackson awaits.
To no one's surprise, a standout player for Team USA has been guard Diana Taurasi, who leads the squad in scoring and 3-point shooting. In yesterday's 91-48 rout of Canada, Taurasi scored a game-high 15 points, while adding 4 assists, 3 rebounds and a block. Diana also scored big with her footwear selection, choosing to bring back her "USA" Nike Air Max LeBron VII PE from the 2010 FIBA World Championship.
Team USA takes on Australia tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. EST. More photos of Diana in the "USA" VII below.
