We start out this week's Kicks on Cards collection with NBA Summer League commentator Kendall Gill back in his Sonics days with a fresh pair of Air Jordan IX's.  Here we see him skying to the basket against none other than Jon Koncak in the shoe that Michael never wore in a game during his year's absence from the NBA, but many other pros did.

For our second card, we have Joe Smith in the NIke Air Uptempo 3.0 from 1997-98.  The Uptempo 3.0 is a shoe closely associated with Kevin Garnett and a classic from Nike's late 90's basketball line.  It's slightly reminiscent of both the Air Penny I and II, with a "wing" like the Penny I and carbon fiber plate that pokes up below the wing similar to the Penny II.  The rest of the upper featured tumbled leather and a jeweled Swoosh.  Joe is spotted on this card in a nice white and navy colorway.

Alton Lister is unfortunately most famous for the "Lister Blister", but at least he wore some cool kicks, too, as we catch him on this card in the Nike Air Revolution.  The Air Revolution is important to Nike Basketball history because it was the first to have a visible Air unit.

We finish up this week with Robert Pack orchestrating the Blazers offense in a pair of dope AVIA basketball kicks and Walt Williams in the Nike Air Max Uptempo with his signature high socks.  As always, drop a comment with your favorite sneaker sighting below!
