Charles Barkley's Air Force 180 "Olympics" are one of the hottest sneaker releases of the summer and today we'll take a look at the original Nike commercial for the Air Force 180 featuring Charles Barkley.

In this commercial we see a beastly cartoon Barkley destroying the court in not the Olympic colorway, but the black and royal blue colorway made for his Philadelphia 76er days.  The Air Force 180 was the basketball brother of the Air 180 running shoe.  At their time in 1991-92, the 180's featured the largest visible Air-Sole unit to date, even though they didn't bear the Air Max label.  The Air 180 technology didn't last long (which is unfortunate because it looked really cool) as Nike quickly expanded their Air units to be even bigger, like in Barkley's soon to follow Air Force Max CB.

Enjoy the cartoon Sir Charles commercial, and let us know if you picked up a pair of the newest Air Force 180 retro in the comments below.
