In the world of sneaker collecting, making deals over the internet has become a big part of building your collection over the past ten years or so.  As with anything done on the internet, there's always a downside. For Miami collector Keven Rodriguez, losing his "South Beach" LeBron 8s to an online scammer was probably the worst way to learn this unfortunate lesson.

Looking to raise enough funds to attend a class trip, Keven had agreed to sell his South Beach LeBron 8s for $700 to another sneaker collector who contacted him thanks to his listing on Craigslist. Keven agreed to the deal, receiving payment and immediately shipping the shoes. The deal went through smooth at first, until the buyer filed a claim with PayPal stating he never received the kicks, and was refunded by PayPal.

Almost completely out of luck, the Miami Heat, Nike Basketball and LeBron James were quickly informed of the situation and decided to make things right. Check the video below for a look at how 'Bron and the Swoosh helped make up for Kevin's lost kicks.
