Before there was Drew Brees, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, Dan Marino was the quintessential video game number NFL quarterback. However, when Marino shattered records, he did so without overly QB-friendly rules, gimmick offenses and rarely played with star players on offense. This holiday season, Nike Training will dig into the vault and bring back Marino's Air Max Speed Turf shoe in a variety of colorways, including the grey-based style previewed here.
A tried and true color combo in Nike's training history, grey and black team up on the leather, nubuck and mesh-constructed shoe. The high-top features a midfoot cross strap, polyurethane midsole with Max Air cushioning and a solid rubber outsole.
These are tentatively scheduled to drop in December, with other colorways arriving before. Retail is $135.
