For many occasions of note in Jordan's recent history, the brand's creative team has sampled up a full set of the iconic Air Jordan series to help showcase the industry furthering design language of its twenty-three roman numeral signature sneakers and subsequent game shoe models.

To cap off the 23rd anniversary of the brand, each model was originally sampled up in 2008 in rich white full grain leather uppers to make up the appropriately dubbed "Air Jordan White Collection." A complementary Black Collection soon followed.

Next came the "For The Love of The Game" x Pantone 284 Collection, which included this much-debated XI, that we saw on display in New York during the World Basketball Festivall two summers ago. The full bodied Carolina blue uppers included a laser etched pattern of one of Michael's favorite sayings as a tribute to his days in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The white and red "Home Bulls" series made its way around the country next, first on display at Nike's newest door in Santa Monica for the fall of 2010, then residing safely at the Portland Nike Store for a few months.

The last of the five full story sets is this Air Jordan "Rainbow Pack" Collection. Created purely for display during the spring of 2011, each model takes on a varying shade of the rainbow in an anodized synthetic upper, with simple white midsoles, outsoles, laces and liners linking the group.
