Release Update // Nike Zoom KD IV - N7 Collection

New KD IV colorways celebrate the spirit of Native American and Aboriginal sport.

words // Brandon Richard

With its sleek design and competitive price point, the Zoom KD IV has arguably been this year's most popular Nike Basketball signature model. Continuing what has already been a huge year for Kevin Durant's fourth sig, the KD IV will be part of the season's Nike N7 Collection. Inspired by the Seven Generations, N7 is Nike's commitment to bring sport and all of its benefits to Native American and Aboriginal communities in the United States and Canada. The collection embodies Nike’s Considered Design ethos and takes cues from Native and Aboriginal culture.

Two colorways of the KD IV will be made available, each featuring signature N7 colors. Black and white-based styles will both feature Turquoise and Chilling Red accenting, as well as unique N7 graphics on the midfoot cross-strap and tongue. A repeated star-shaped pattern also appears throughout the upper. The black shoe is finished off with a contrasting white outsole, while a turquoise sole handles things on the white pair.

According to NikeStore, both pairs will be available this Sunday, April 1. Retail will be $95.

Update: A few hours after announcing the April 1 release date, NikeStore tweeted that the N7 KD IVs have been delayed until June 2012.
