Of all the staple colorways in LeBron James' Nike signature line, none are more anticipated the home and away St. Vincent-St. Mary styles. Designed for the team at LeBron's Akron-based high school, the shoes feature the Fighting Irish team colors and are typically limited to current players, staff and those with far-reaching connections. This year, the Nike LeBron 9 has been decked out in home and away SVSM colorways; below is a detailed look and video review of the latter.
Somewhat of a different look for the series, the shoe features a dark green synthetic upper with metallic gold textile wing panels on the sides. A golden brown color works Flywire paneling on the forefoot and midfoot harness, as well as a section of the heel. Contrasting hits of white are used for the Swoosh logos and speckled midsole, which sits atop a dark green Max Air bag and outsole.
At the moment, these are not expected to hit retail.
