What could be a better basketball card than one with "Big Country" Bryant Reeves and "Kandy Man" Michael Olowakandi? Well, a card with the Kandy Man spotted in an original pair of Air Jordans, of course! To call Olowakandi the biggest NBA Draft bust would be a little harsh(Kwame? Darko?). He did put together a fairly decent career with the Clippers before falling victim to injuries, but considering he was the #1 pick in the 1998 Draft that included Antawn Jamison, Vince Carter, Paul Pierce, and Dirk Nowitzki, he was no doubt a bust. (If it makes Clippers fans feel any better, the Nuggets did take Raef Lafrentz at #3 that year.)
Bust or not, here we see Michael in an original pair of Air Jordan XIV's in the White/Varsity Red colorway that will be available again this Saturday, March 10. Originally releasing in 1999 and retroing in 2006, this Saturday brings us the third chance to get the classic Ferrari-inspired Air Jordan XIV in its white and red colorway. Will you be picking up a pair? Or is this shoe a bust among the other Jordan Brand releases this year?
