Prior to taking the floor as a starter for the Eastern Conference in last night's NBA All-Star Game, Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose and adidas stopped by Florida Mall's Foot Locker to meet and greet waiting fans, as well as celebrate the launch of his new signature shoe. After Rose answered questions from a swarm of media members, guests had the opportunity to meet, have autographs signed and take pictures with the All-Star. Derrick took extra time to meet one of his biggest fans, a young kid by the name of Jose Lopez who had his "Brenda" adidas adiZero Rose 2.5 sneakers signed.
Additionally, Vice President of Global Basketball for adidas confirmed recent reports that the brand signed a partnership extension with Rose.
“We're extremely excited to extend our partnership with Derrick Rose. Derrick is a tremendous partner whose humility, commitment to the community and exciting play on the court is a perfect match for the adidas brand."
