If there were any doubts about Kyrie Irving's ability to play on the pro level, he put them to rest with his play during the first half of his rookie campaign. Kyrie leads all rookies in scoring and only trails Ricky Rubio in assists, making him the front runner for this year's Rookie of the Year Award. Before he helps the Cavs make a playoff push in the second half, Irving took home MVP honors for Team Chuck in last night's BBVA Rising Stars Challenge wearing this Player Exclusive colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011.
The wild Cavs-inspired shoe features a yellow-based upper with red accenting the laces, Swoosh logos, inner lining and outsole. Like we've seen with other All-Star Weekend Nike shoes, there's a NASA-style mission patch sewn on the tongue.
