In celebration of adidas Founder Adi Dassler's vast archive of groundbreaking footwear, the Originals range has partnered up with UK retailer Size? for the 2012 Archive Pack. The pack consists of key models from adidas' heritage that have been recreated in original and authentic colorways. Leading the way is the classic Rod Laver Vintage Lux, the first signature model for the Aussie tennis legend.
Originally introduced in 1970, the Laver was designed in collaboration with Rod himself. Over the decades, the original Running White/Fairway Green colorway has become an all-time street classic. However, contrary to popular belief, this iteration was the first Rod Laver shoe ever created.
In the early 80s, the shoe developed into the Rod Laver Super, which sported a noticeably chunkier shape. This variation has also become a sneaker head favorite. No matter the version, the Rod Laver franchise is one of the most loved in the world by the sneaker community.
The Black/Running White colorway of the Archive Pack Rod Laver Vintage Lux reissue is available now at Size? UK.
