Linking Michael Jordan's status as a basketball icon to the importance of the dragon in Chinese Culture, the Jordan Brand has introduced the Air Jordan 2012 in a special "Year of the Dragon" make-up. Dressed in blue tones with contrasting hits of yellow, the shoe evokes a message of supremacy, accentuated by the dragon wrapped around the Jumpman logo on the tongue.
The shoe also marks the introduction of the Air Jordan 2012 Flight System, which provides the wearer with two dynamic fit options, three performance rides and three sets of laces. Each "Year of the Dragon" 2012 comes specially packaged in three-tier red boxes with all-over golden dragon prints.
